We ate, drank and snapped the night away with our friends from The Laughing Cow Cheese last Wednesday at the gorgeous Fremont Foundry (in, you guessed it, Fremont). The event brought together some of Seattle’s most vibrant and dynamic socialites to get the latest tips and tricks of smartphone food photography from members of the elite local foodie scene.
The Love Your Local event was a unique opportunity to explore Seattle food trends and discover inspiring snack ideas just in time for fall! We couldn’t wait to enjoy the fabulous venue and the chance to meet some of our fellow digital journalists from the Seattle area. The rooftop setting of the Fremont Foundry provided a perfect setting for an incredible late-August evening with new and old friends. The sun beamed, selfies were taken, prizes were given and we left never looking at food photography the same again.
Attendees were given the chance to learn how to #ReinventSnacking (check the hashtag on Instagram for an insider look!) with The Laughing Cow. Local celebrity chefs showed us how to make creative snacks that are Instagram-worthy AND filled with flavor.
Of course in Seattle, there’s always room for technology. Attendees were also provided the chance to get hands-on learning experiences with digital and stop-motion food photography techniques using our yummy creations. Featured guests and teachers included Chef Paul Osher (Pork Chop & Co.), Visual Country and Brittany Wright (@wrightkitchen).
When we weren’t getting tips from the pros, we were enjoying the company of fellow bloggers, Instagrammers and a lovely array of snacks and specialty cocktails. We can’t wait to dine out at some of our favorite restaurants and snap away using some of the lessons we picked up! Thank you to The Laughing Cow, Fremont Foundry, Chef Paul Osher, Visual Country and Brittany Wright for an amazing evening! How do you #ReinventSnacking for fall?
