A year ago today, Seattle Socialites was born in a one-bedroom apartment in the Central District. Today, with your help and loyalty, Seattle Socialites now has more than 900 Instagram followers and thousands of online blog readers. To celebrate the one-year milestone and kick off another year, I’ve decided to formally introduce myself + the Seattle Socialites team.
Hello…My name is Jasmine and I’m the founder and owner of Seattle Socialites! By day, I work in marketing/media/PR/advertising for a wide range of local, national and international brands at a small creative agency in Seattle. I’m passionate about everything the great Pacific Northwest has to offer and using Seattle Socialites as a tool to share that passion with all of you is such a joy and privilege. I’m so full of gratitude for the family and friends who have supported this endeavor and can’t wait to see what the next year will bring!
The team I get to work with on Seattle Socialites is the best and I am so thankful for their tenacity and creativity! The eternally beautiful and lovely Dani is a longtime friend (since high school!) and confidant who also serves as a Creative Director and blogger for Seattle Socialites. By day, she’s busy making people gorgeous! Find her at the Flagship Nordstrom in Downtown Seattle where she’s a manager for Yves Saint Laurent cosmetics. Dani also referred me to our in-house firecracker, blogger and adventure-seeker, Bree Marie. The epic Snow Lake hike blog post from September? All her. Find this Italian beauty serving the best Italian fare in Belltown by day and making you jealous of her outfit by night!
In just one year, we’ve had the chance to work with local, national and international products + events including Vancouver Fashion Week, The Laughing Cow, Bio-Oil, Carmex, Darigold, Destination Races and Noosa Yogurt – just to name a few. Kicking off our second year, we look forward to bringing you more news and content across expanded platforms. (Hint: Videos!)
Have questions for any of us? Leave us a question or note in the comments! Thank you, to all 900+ of you, for your continued support. Here’s to 365 more days of making local the new black!
