Play, Learn & Grow at Adventura

It’s no secret that we ~love~ wine. But when we heard about a floating adventure park nestled in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, we thought we hit the adulting jackpot – and we were right! Adventura is an Aerial Adventure Park whose mission is simple: allowing people to stop by to play, learn and grow.

The park located just behind the Redhook Brewery near hundreds, yes hundreds, of locally-based Pacific Northwest Wineries. To be clear, the wine fun comes after you’ve faced your fears up to 50 feet above ground (while safely harnessed to the course with ropes, of course). There is ample free parking just steps from the course, which is also adjacent to a lovely trail leading to Willows Lodge and the Herb Farm.

The owner of the course, Scott Chreist, lead our group through a brief safety training before we began climbing, swinging, zip-lining and walking through the park. While it rained off and on during our visit, Scott was unbelievably knowledgeable about rain patterns – even using a weather app showing when the worse rain would hit the area and planning our visit around the harshest weather.

The biggest challenge someone will face at Adventura is themselves! The course is incredibly safe and well staffed, so the challenge is essentially more mental than physical. That being said, you can expect to feel the burn of an incredible workout following a day at Adventura!

Now for the important part: wine. There are wine packages available at Adventura, learn more about them here. We loved enjoying post-park wine at Willows Lodge from JM Cellars and highly recommend booking a room for a Woodinville staycation in style. The rooms and hotel grounds are gorgeous, like Pacific Northwest Fairy Tale gorgeous. Don’t forget to check out the spa and the famous Herb Farm located just across the parking lot.

While Adventura is just a 30 minute drive from Seattle, be sure to pack water and dress for the weather (hint: bring gloves, your hands will thank you later) to have the best possible experience. But most of all, prepare yourself for the personal growth that can only come from a day above ground experiencing adventure at Adventura.
